With budget cuts, the conference organizers realize that there may not be money available within the school district to pay for transportatio of students to the conference, or substitution fees, so that the teacher can attend the conference. SYEC has two funding resources available:

SYEC Teacher Funding Request- available for participating teachers.  Funds can be used to pay for substitutes and/or school bus/van transportation. Funds distributed directly to the school district after confirmed participation in the conference. See form for details. Deadline, May 17, 2013.

Visiting Teacher Funding Request - available for new teachers who would like to visit the conference to ecalutate student participation for a future conference. Funds distributed directly to the school district after confirmed participation in the conference. See form for details. Deadline, May 17, 2013.
